Heart of the Pack: The Way Home explores the powerful bonds that hold a wolf pack together. I wanted to capture a moment of quiet connection between these animals and convey the sense of belonging, trust, and shared purpose that defines life within a pack.

Created in soft pastel, the piece focuses on the individual character of each wolf while keeping the group visually connected. The title reflects both the emotional bond between pack members and the importance of having wild places to which they can return.

Through this work, I hope to encourage viewers to see wolves not simply as individual wild animals, but as intelligent, social beings whose lives are closely tied to healthy, interconnected ecosystems.
