Growing up and living in beautiful wild places have enriched my affinity for the natural world. I have always embraced the indigenous ways of knowing that call on us to revere wild places and wild beings rather than to conquer them. I currently reside in Big Sky, Montana near Yellowstone National Park, where habitat fragmentation throughout the Yellowstone to Yukon migratory corridor is a poster problem for human-wildlife interface conflict in the West. My hope is that my paintings inspire the love of nature, compassion, and coexistence with the wild ones we share this beautiful land with.
