I feel very fortunate to have seen polar bears waiting for the ice to freeze in Churchill, Manitoba, on the Hudson Bay.  This female had two cubs.  They were resting, exploring and napping, until she can introduce them to their new life in the sea and on the sea ice.  A polar bear's life style is so specialized, mostly swimming and hunting in the ocean.  Accomplishing this with two cubs is amazing to consider.
