This is a quick glimpse and some of the growth and progress we've seen since starting back in March. We started by testing soil and pH levels back in February to develop an educated decision and plant a strategic blend of high protein and essential nutrients that would yield the highest reward for this part of the Southeast region. The final mixture was high in protein which is detrimental for antler growth and development as well as crucial carbohydrates to maintain body weight and energy levels during the strenuous months of the hot and humid climate that come with the southeast region. As the months progress throughout the summer we saw major changes comparing to years before we started protein plots in the antler development. Not only did we see substantial growth but in many of the bucks we noticed earlier development comparative to typical antler growth for Georgia deer. A few of the bucks that you see in the videos have named our property home and made it their core bedding area all year long. With that privilege, a few of them acquired unique nicknames to go hand and hand with their unique racks! Take your best guess at which ones earned the names of Captain Hook, Ben-Ten, and Hoss!
