Purpose/Mission: 
Sketch for Survival is a global art initiative that invites artists worldwide to contribute original works depicting threatened species and vulnerable wild spaces. Each year, 100 selected pieces tour internationally before being sold in a charity auction, with all proceeds directed to the Campaign Fund in support of conservation, education, and protection efforts.

Sketch for Survival raises funds through its annual touring exhibition and charity auction to support frontline conservation projects via the Explorers Against Extinction Campaign Fund. Proceeds from the sale of artwork help to:

  • Protect endangered species and habitats in Africa, South America, and beyond

  • Fund community-led initiatives that reduce human–wildlife conflict

  • Support rangers and conservation partners tackling poaching and wildlife crime

  • Raise global awareness of biodiversity loss and the urgent need for protection
