Deirdre Hyde is an English painter who has chosen to live in Costa Rica for the past 40 years.

As well as producing a body of work ranging from illustration for publication to large format canvases, she has collaborated in conservation efforts throughout the region. She has worked as artist in residence in National Parks and Botanical Gardens in Costa RIca, Italy, UK, USA and Colombia.
