Friends of Missisquoi Annual Art Show The 2025 Friends Annual Art Show runs from May 17 to July 18 and features the work of over 30 talented local artists. Showcasing both photography and paintings, the event celebrates a shared passion for wildlife and offers visitors a chance to support both the arts and conservation. Most pieces are available for purchase, with many artists—myself included—donating a portion or all of their proceeds to the Friends of Missisquoi. As a member of the Friends of Missisquoi board and one of the organizers of this event, I’m especially proud of how the show brings our community together in support of the refuge. This year, I contributed two oil paintings, and I’m thrilled to share that my Short-eared Owl painting sold—with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the Friends to support their ongoing conservation efforts at the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. The art show is a meaningful way to give back to the land and wildlife we all care about—while taking home a piece of local nature-inspired art.
