I live on the rainforest coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

I trained as a textile/surface pattern designer and teacher, but my passion is painting larger than life wildlife in acrylics.

I am currently painting a collection called, 'Meet the Indigenous Wildlife of Vancouver Island', in my studio 'Artbutus', because the rapid and huge migration of people to the island is creating instant urbanized areas, where indigenous wildlife can no long co-exist with humans and so is disappearing from peoples sights and thoughts.
