The illustrious Guinea Fowl! Having the chance to see these noise makers in Africa was a treat. Guinea fowl are highly social, noisy African birds known for their “polka-dot” plumage and “helmeted” heads. Renowned as natural, organic pest control for farms, they voraciously consume ticks, beetles, and snakes. These hardy, monogamous birds are exceptional watchdogs, often used to protect against predators and intruders with their loud, distinctive calls.
