“The Gazer.” Did you know that the ostrich, the world’s largest bird, roams Africa’s savannahs? Reaching an incredible 2.7m tall and weighing 159kg, it’s a sight to behold! The ostrich may not fly, but it can run at speeds of over 70km per hour, covering 5m in a single stride. These magnificent birds live in herds of around 12, working together in the wild.
