A few years back, I was visiting the Island of Cortes on the Pacific West Coast of British Columbia. As I was walking along the shore one calm and very quiet day, I came across this beautiful scene of a pair of common murre sea birds. It evoked the purist form and feeling of peace and tranquility. A feeling that I hope is also experienced by the viewer, as I believe, we all need in these uncertain times.
