As dawn breaks across the Kenyan landscape, it reminds us of a new day and renewed hope. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy where I was fortunate enough to visit, is home to many of Africa's vanishing species, especially the Northern White Rhino, where there are now only two in existence.
This reticulated giraffe is only one of many fortunate species to call the Ol Pejeta Conservancy home. In this small painting I wanted to capture a feeling of not only how graceful and beautiful giraffes are, but also the warmth and glow of Africas landscape. The dawn, creating a feeling of hope, as I do believe if we all work together we can heal our hurting planet.
