My painting Lake O'Hara Sunrise won Honorable Mention at the Ten Moir Gallery's 'Nature's Wonder International Online Art Exhibition/Competion' in March 2023

Selected to be the 'Featured Artist' on the Society of Canadian Artists social media feed, February 20th. My painting 'Peonies' was selected from last years SCA International Online art show to be featured in the feed.

I am so honoured to be one of the 'Invited Artists' able to particpate in the 2025 'Wildlife Habitat Canada Stamp Art Compeition'. I look forward to particpating in this prestigious competition. This painting of a common loon was a 2022 commission for an American client, I really enjoyed working on this piece as loons are one of my favourite waterfowl. It was one of the paintings that lead to Wildlife Habitat Canada asking me to be an Invited Artist.

"Rivers of Gold" was the first painting of my new series that combines high realism with the abstract beauty of gilding. I was thrilled to find out that it had gotten into the Top 15% out of 2,333 entries in December's international Bold Brush Painting Competion.

As I was leaving the Upper Kananskis Lake I saw this moose feeding in the marshy bog alongside the road and immediately snapped several photos. The lighting on the moose back and the misty clouds hanging low on the mountains made for such a peaceful and quiet composition. "Kananaskis Autumn" sold within hours of being posted on social media and won that weekend's 'A Brush with Art' show in Didsbury top honour of "People's Choice Award"

My painting Tulip Parrot won "Best in Show" at Riverlands Artist Studio & Gallery's Spring Air group show in April 2022. This little painting is only 5"x7" but is a beatiful little gem that represents the new life the returns in spring. It is available for sale.

"Mountain Beauty" won the adult category in Canadian Schoolhouse Magazine's art competion. This painting expresses a range of beauty we find in nature, from the simple cone flower in front of us to the majestic mountains spanning the horizion. Mountain Beauty was donated to Edmonton's "Friends of the University Hospital" fundraiser in 2013.

I was honoured to of been selected as one of the Top 5 Finalist in Dream Homes by Avi annual art contest. The winner's artwork is displayed in the dream home at the Calgary Stampede. "Elbow Valley" was one of the paintings that made it into the Top 5 Finalist position.

"Upper Kananskis Lake Pathway" was selected as one of the winners for the 2010 SGI Communications Calendar.
