Tread Softly on the Ridge
This is an original oil painting of a cow moose that we spotted in the back woods of Webbwood, in Northern Ontario. She stood there 'posing' for a long time watching us before she finally turned and slowly sauntered away treading softly through the underbrush and finally over the edge of the ridge into the forest down below.
She comes framed in a 3" Larson-Juhl Charcoal Antinca Frame with a 1" flax liner.
**15% of the sale from this painting will be donated to Aspen Wildlife Sanctuary in Rosseau, Ontario, a wildlife rescue organization that has taken in a number of calf moose and this year alone have rehabilitated and released 5 so far back into the wild.
