I was inspired to create this bronze Humpback Whale as I continue to siphon knowledge about the incredible wildlife of Vancouver Island. This iconic creature’s population recovery over the last 40 years is indicative of what is possible when protections are put in place for threatened species. Together, we can make a difference.

A percentage of the sale of each "Breach" edition will go to Ocean Wise. From their website: “As Canada's largest ocean conservation organization we help protect whales through science, citizen action, and partnerships with industry, delivering evidence-based solutions that reduce threats and support healthier ocean ecosystems.”
