"My art has been an expression of my life-long career in environmental conservation, inspired by the landscapes and wildlife in the places around the globe that I have been fortunate to live, work and travel! "

I have worked in the field of environmental conservation for all of my career, mainly supporting small island developing states (SIDS) in management of their precious resources; forests, water and biodiversity. My love for art and depicting wildlife, particularly birds, led me to join the Forestry Department in my home, the Caribbean island of St. Lucia back in the mid-1980s, and the rest as they say is history! Visual arts hold the great potential to capture the imagination and effect powerful conservation messaging. I join colleagues across the globe in using art to continue the call to action, to save our wild species and spaces!
