"I grew up on a Christmas tree farm and had about every pet you could imagine. I was always outside finding turtles, bird nests, or riding our horse. To this day it's where I feel most at peace. Nature is the only place without a human thought. There are no advertisements, words, or buildings; just plants and animals living as they were created to be. As humans, we have disassociated with our enviroment. We share this planet with almost 9 million other species, but have created an ecosystem of concrete and culture that only we can thrive in. Through my artwork, I hope people can appreciate the animals that live around us, and find beauty in the simplicty of nature.
