A glyph is any kind of purposeful mark. In typography, a glyph is "the specific shape, design, or representation of a character". The Australian artist G W Bott does some gorgeous abstracts using glyth motifs (see below) and this format has inspired my representation of summertime crowds enjoying our fabulous, popular, sandy, clean, Australian Beaches.
