As painting number 3 of the "Bishop and the Bear" project raising awareness to the extreme effects of climate change and loss of habitat. P.Bear appears to have given up hope in his attempt to find a new home amongst us as forest fires rage outside his window, as his faithful companion Bishop attempts to comfort P.Bear as the great books about our environment and conservation are scattered about and catching fire, books written by John Muir and Charles Darwin. Several birds come in to P. Bear's home showing concern. This surreal series of paintings is an ongoing project to raise awareness about climate change and the resulting Loss of Habitat. Loss of Habitat is the leading cause of endangered species.
