A beautiful painting of a Snowy Owl that I observed in December of 2017 near my home in Northern Michigan.  The bird perched on a farm fence post for over an hour giving me plenty of time to slowly approach in a zig zag pattern so as not so stress the bird.    I was able to photograph and as luck would have it, with a dark stormy backdrop, a peak of sunllight came out illuminating the bird from the right.  An artist's dream come true!    So here you have it.  May take on that wonderful moment.
