I found this incredible snowy elevation in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada.  To my utter shock when I hopped out of the car to take photos, my feet quickly began to sink into the ground beneath me.  I thought it would be frozen.  It was very boggy.  I could not help but wonder what kind of wildlife was hidden underneath those soggy grasses.
