Making our way to Costa Rica's most active volcano - Volcán Arena, my guide abruptly stopped our van and gestured for me to step out.  High in the treetops, right overhead, a large clan of howler monkeys watched us intently while I attempted to capture photos of their curious expressions.  As did their remarkable, resounding howls, this mom struck a chord with me.
