Ruffed Grouse
Between shadow and light, wildlife gently reveals itself.
In the humid calm of the forest, two ruffed grouse cross paths. They remain there, motionless, as if frozen in time. Their feathers, blending shades of brown and gray, blend into the trunks and shadows, as if the forest itself had shaped them to hide there.
This contrast gives rise to a subtle emotion: a promise of peace, but also the whisper of a secret that nature keeps to itself. These birds, silent witnesses to this fragile balance, embody the grace and restraint of the wild world.
So, without even realizing it, we hold our breath, afraid that the slightest movement might break this fragile harmony. The work invites us to marvel: to look at the world not in its noisy splendor, but in the revelations it offers to those who know how to observe, slowly and patiently.
