This painting is dedicated to the Artist's Series on Birds of Prey and to the artist's growing collection of helping wildlife through her paintings and sharing their stories. These beautiful, creatures are seen on her travels throughout Ontario and call it their home. You may be going on a day trip and see them along the roadway high on the telephone lines, looking for lunch. This painting here symbolizes and captures a prescious moment of this Red-tailed Hawk, circling around us on our drive out to the lake. We saw him often and never had a real chance to get this close. What a wonderful sight he was and a memory we'd like to capture with this painting. Lynda has the desire to render the beauty she sees around her with these amazing creatures in their natural environment. Her hope is to bring awareness to these wonderful angelic creatures she paints and help sustain them through conservation efforts, while giving back to Associations that can help them.
Artist will donate 10% to Bird Studies Canada from the sale of this work.
