All my original designs are manually cut from a single sheet of paper, with a scalpel. The artwork is better displayed in a double glass frame, to allow it to cast shadows. Please note that the fine art prints do NOT show off the shadow work.

I love this quote, attributed to John A. Shedd. To me it brings an instant courage infusion and inertia break.

Yes, we’re safe in our comfort zones. But in general, there’s nothing more uncomfortable than that, and that’s not what we’re here for.

Having crossed oceans and continents (real and imagined) in search of my dreams and (as it turned out) myself, I know how hard it is to leave our safe havens. But the trip is almost always worth it, even if just for the wind on your face.

“Take Courage” are said to be the last words of one of my favourite writers. I chose this title for this artwork as an homage to her, and a reminder to myself.
