All my original designs are manually cut from a single sheet of paper, with a scalpel. The artwork is better displayed in a double glass frame, to allow it to cast shadows. Please note that the fine art prints do NOT show off the shadow work. 

Hippos are amazing creatures, as I'm sure you know. One day, while I felt weighed down by something, my husband (whose mind is endlessly weird and whimsical) “out of the bluely” told me: Quick! Think of a baby hippo!

I don’t know about you. But as it turns out, I cannot think of a baby hippo without feeling happy, and in awe. So, I thought I’d spread the love, in these weird times.

I hope you and yours are well and happy. And I hope you’ll remember to think of an adorable baby hippo if and when that’s not the case.
