Ray Swirsky is a contemporary western oil painter from Calgary, Alberta. 

  He developed a deep connection with nature growing up in BC, and this is evident in his stunning landscape and animal paintings.

   An active plein-air painter, Ray is forever seeking the colours that exist in nature. When in studio he works pushing strong colours with high contrast to make his works come alive.

   Ray is a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Alberta Society of Artists, Artists for Conservation, Oil Painters of America, and a founding member of the newly formed First Nations Arts Alliance.
