"I paint the BC coast, from water droplets to blossoms, mushrooms to mountain ranges, to bring images of today into the eyes of tomorrow using acrylic, oil, pen and pencil. "

I am honoured and grateful to live and play within the territory of the Tla'amin Nation.

The west coast of British Columbia, where land meets sea, that intertidal zone of activity...that's where I work. A deep love of nature was instilled within me from birth and I delight in the lessons I learn from taking the time to slow down and really see. Life is full of a rich plethora of images to paint, draw, photograph or just plain watch and I make it my mission to bring those images from today into the eyes of tomorrow.

For most of my artist career I have used acrylics. However, a short series of lessons with hyper-realism artist Lucas Kratochwil, introduced me to oils. As my "studio" is our dining room, I chose water-soluble oils and am enjoying the buttery consistency and forgiving nature of these beautiful materials.

Thank you for visiting my page.
