Sing A Song
Walking along a trail beside a marsh I caught a bit of movement in the shrubs. I stopped to listen..."twichety twichety twichety twich". Another flutter, and then I saw him. His black mask making him easy to identify, a male Common yellowthroat. He tilted his head back and sang again. It was such a pretty song and he seemed so committed singing it. I shot a few pictures before breaking away. It wasn't until later in the studio while looking over the reference photos I noticed another creature in there too. I wonder if the bird knew he was singing for a few fans that day.
