Biography

I have lived all of my life in the country - most of it with my husband on his father's original homestead in northern Alberta, Canada.
Although I feel I have been an artist all my life, it is only the last 11 years that I have seriously taken up painting. My goal is to try to present and preserve the beauty of nature as realistically as I can on canvas. I am inspired by everything! I love our changing seasons; the brilliant greens and blues of spring and summer, the reds and golds of fall, and, equally, the pristine shades of whites, blue, and mauve in the snow of winter.
Memberships include Artists for Conservation, Associate Signature Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, (including the Peace River Branch), National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society, and Grande Prairie Guild of Artists.
I have paintings in private and corporate collections throughout Canada and the U.S.
