Rapture
Turkey vultures are a much maligned bird. They are the dreaded sign of death in old westerns and the portent of sorrow in political cartoons. I find them a delight. To me they symbolize the changing seasons as hundreds, spiral up thermal lifts, into translucent autumn skies. This print is in the permanent collection of the Leigh Yawkey Museum and Jury's Choice at Art in the West, High Desert Museum.
