Hidden Railway
The salt marsh of San Pablo Bay is an ocean of grass whispering secrets. In its muddy waters, the Ridgway’s Rail goes about the business of survival with determination. Marshes are the lungs of the bay: improving water quality, sequestering carbon, and mitigating the dangers of flooding. In the smoggy distance are an oil refinery and the slopes of Mt Diablo.
