Biography

Ashley Habernal is a self-taught wildlife artist residing in Ontario, Canada, who has always had a love for animals. She works in several mediums such as coloured pencil, ink, watercolour, acrylic, and pastels, but her favourite and signature method of creation is stippling with fine liner pens. She has a special interest in depicting marine megafauna such as whales and sharks.

Support for Conservation: 

2018: Donated a vaquita illustration to be used by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society at their discretion.

2021: Animalltea featured artist. Created "Grape Girl" as a limited edition art card. Proceeds donated to Lwiro Primate Sanctuary.

2022: Oceanic Preservation Society Featured Partner Artist. 20% of proceeds from sales donated to the Oceanic Preservation Society for a minimum of 6 months.
