Ahmed was a huge Tusker in the Marsabit region of Kenya back in the 1970's. He lived to a grand old age and was so revered that he was granted special protection from the then president, Jomo Kenyatta... what has happened in the last 50 years is truly abhorrent with numbers set to half in the next decade!.. I wait for the day that this same protection is granted and upheld today ...
