Don’t Leave Me Behind
Mixed media 3/D wall sculpture. A contemporary look at the plight of the African Lion. Sculpted wire used in conjunction with metal , acrylic and oil paint. Sculpture is secured on stretched canvas to hang on a wall for presentation. The wire look offers a skeletal impression to the viewer as a symbol of the lions endangered situation in the wild. The painted metal suggests what could as a positive future for the lion. There are only 23,000 to 33,ooo lions left in the wild.
