Red squirrels are some incredible tree animals found across Europe and Asia. It is fascinating to watch them climb, jump and having a relaxed meal between two branches, just like the scene in my artwork. Nuts and acorns make up the majority of their diet, and when they find plenty of food, they will also store it high up in treetops.

Their red copper coat and bushy tails are unique and beautiful and make them blend into their environment in complete harmony. Unfortunately, the numbers of red squirrels have drastically decreased in Great Britain, Ireland and Italy.
