Original oil painting on canvas of an aster, its petals shaped by a spider web.  Coming upon this scene, I noticed the spiral petals first, and, on closer inspection, saw the web twisted around them.  I loved the idea of beauty being created by unseen forces. 

This painting was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Engage Art Contest, as well as the second place winner in the Beaver Brook Nature Art Exhibit.  The painting is accentuated with my signature live-edge wooden frame.  Framed oil painting dimensions are 13” x 16”.  Hanging hardware affixed to rear of painting.
