One of my favorite things to do is to pause beneath our fruit trees when they're in bloom and listen to the hum of the honey bees in the blossoms.  I treasure that sound.    The day that inspired this painting, the Mourning Doves were cooing in the background....Heaven on Earth.  I plant a variety of herbs and flowers for the honey bees in an effort to help support them in any way I am able.  I plan to paint an ongoing series of this nature, for it is an unfailing source of inspiration for me.
