This painting is based on reference I collected in March of 2016 when visiting Cape Arago (Oregon coast) with my sister and niece.  The rain stopped and the sky cleared one afternoon around 2:00 and we zoomed out to see the ocean.  The sun came out, the breeze was warm and the water was amazing!  Feather and Foam brings fond memories to mind as I recall a perfect afternoon on the Oregon coast that was especially fun to share with my sister from Montana and her daughter from Michigan.
