Definitely Moving On
Rattlesnakes are truly fascinating creatures. Most recently evolved of the world’s snakes, they come only from the western hemisphere (mainly North America). Don’t tread on me- Warning rattles developed to prevent trample by large grazing animals. While working to come up with pleasing design for this carving, someone said to me, “Anything you can draw, a snake can do.” Direct observation has proven this true.
