Am delighted to say that I've been invited to participate in the Explorers Against Extinction 'Sketch for Survival' event. For the past month I have been beavering away on my artwork 'Out of the Shadows' - my White Rhinocerus portrait. When invited to participate in this excellent auction, I knew immediately which species I wished to portray. Over previous years I have donated to the translocation of rhinos to safer areas in Africa, and I whole-heartedly support Rhino Conservation.
Sadly one rhino is killed every 7 hours and an elephant is killed every 15 minutes. Please bid and share this link as our rhinos and ele's need all the help they can get. All funds raised will go to supporting the fight against wildlife crime.
The small image is of my donated rhino artwork being prepared for her journey to the Royal Geographical Society, London. The photo above is of my rhino artwork, 'Out of the Shadows', on display at the Royal Geographical Society, in London.
