This sculpture is the first cast glass sea turtle I have created in a grouping I am calling You're Killing Me.  The Loggerhead sea turtle has been cut by the cast glass propeller that is part of the sculpture.  In the sea turtles nostril, if you look closely, you will see the cast glass straw.  Plastic, active propellers, ghost nets and other marine debris are killing not only sea turtles but other marine wildlife and birds.  It is my intent to draw people in by the beauty of the glass, but portrait a story that will remind them to be mindful and help take care of our earth.
