This pastel piece depicts a male Amur Tiger getting a drink of water. My aim was to capture a moment of peace in this powerful feline's life. Water, the source of life reflects the image of the tiger with the ripples distorting its reflection. This is symbolizing how the future of this species is distorted and uncertain. The Amur tiger is an endangered species that has every right to live with all these different sources in nature. The sun, plants, and water with the reflection are meant to show this. DISCLAIMER: Prices do not include shipping and will be billed to the purchaser.
