This is another image created in a series of mixed media works.  The background is an acrylic pour.  The pour creates a free flowing, abstract image that has a resemblance to aspen leaves.  The birds are then placed in a pleasing composition in oils.  The oil allows thin layers of transparent paint to me applied allowing the background colors and shapes to filter through the birds.
