This is a scene that I experienced outside my studio doors.  A puddle had formed from a rainy time and when I went out the door I witnessed a mourning dove in the puddle taking a drink.  That image stayed with me until I was able to create this painting.  The original was created on suede mat and framed with matching suede mat.  There are two sizes of giclee prints available; one size is off the original 8" H x 24" W, and the second being 6" H x 18" W
