This oil painting was inspired by one of the lions I was able to observe during my safari in Tanzania, Africa.

I was captivated by the beauty and power displayed by the lions of the Ngorongoro Crater and in the Serengeti National Park. At night I would sit outside and listen to the lions roar which could be heard for miles.
