Soul Gazing
There is something about the eyes of an animal that is captivating, but I find it particularly striking when you see the eye of an animal you don’t usually experience. We most often observe whales through blows of air and tails at sea. Then, there are rare moments when curiously they observe you and gift you a thrilling window into their lives. While I was researching whales, I was fortunate to meet Wade and Robyn Hughes in 2016. Years later, our collective passion for displaying the behaviour and personalities of whales has evolved into a collection of secret underwater scenes.
