Meditation
This is a painting of a rose-ringed parakeet on a tree branch. These loud, gregarious birds are common in India and can be seen flying East in the morning and West in the evening. They fly in flocks and make a beautiful screeching sound as they fly overhead. They are usually secondary nesters in tree trunks, meaning they use the holes made by other birds.
Work in progress video is on the web page.
