Ever Hungry
This is an oil work of a hoopoe parent approaching the nest to feed the chicks. The nest is usually a hole in a tree trunk and numerous eggs are laid and hatched by the female. Hoopoes are ground foragers and eat insects. The photograph credit goes to Stanislav Harvancik.
