The autumn season produces so many lighting and colour options that even on a cloudy day the colours are spectacular.  On this particular day I was out paddling on a large bay with rain clouds dropping their burden in isolated showers clearly visible and moving quickly.  They came and went in minutes and all the while there were open blue areas, where by straight sun light dappled the landscape in moving spot lights your eye could follow.  Even in this small scale piece, I can well remember the wind and light of that great day.
